I ‘ll do my contribution in two times . In this first post I’ll do a “Self-feet” 🙂 To facilitate it I did with my iPhone 4S
As I told you the most of my pics will be on film photography. So … waiting all the process : put the roll, take the picture, take out the roll, classified, taken the plane, going to the Photo Store & lab, developping, digitalised selection for Web and for paper ….uff, 3 or 4 if not 6 weeks later…I’ll share that pictures 🙂 So for the rapid appetite ..some images with my iPhone …:)
Some days ago I announce a little dream : go to Yosemite. And I did it. A little travel of One Day on a Tour from San Francisco. I had with me my iPhone and two cameras film : a Nikon S2 and a Contax IIa. Films will take two weeks for processing and I’ll receive it later because I’m on rural part of Quebec.
I’m fascinated of capacities of my iPhone-4S. Honestly I’m surprised of fidelity and sharpness and resolution. I did about 600 photos from San Francisco and on the Yosemite National Park. Here I’ll upload a number of them in colour and on a different gallery I’ll upload some experiences working with PS C5 for a B&W version of some of them. For me Yosemite must necessarily have a version in B&W inspirited in the big Master Ansel Adams.
I’ll put only numerical titles but 3 exceptions , I don’t have enough patience for more details today, I prefer only share the visual impression and feeling.
I’m specially traditionalist in photography. The idea participating with casual and fast ‘phoneography’ is very funny and encourages when the subject is there but not the camera. For being in peace with me and being able to continue participating in these Challenges I’ve divided my gallery in two parts My Neighbourhood with my iPhone and also with my appreciated Nikon equipment . In the first portion I took shots when doing a walk with snowshoes border the sea
I live in a little village named Port-Daniel in Gaspesie. Is a rural and fishing area. Winter is beautiful and we have had too much snow this year. The temperature is warming and Spring is coming slowly.
Here are some pics walking around and special views of my nearest neighbours. I use my Nikon D200 with manual lenses Nikon Fish-eye 16mm 2,8 and with Nikon 55mm 2,8 macro, except three pics taken with a Nikon Coolpix 4500
