In my medical student years I used to go to the Mapuches Communities in the South of Chile ( Temuco). I went as student of my my teacher and Master Maria ester Grebe (ethno-musicologist). We registered many shamanistic healing rituals conducted by the Machi. The Machi is the Natural Healer of this communities. Was a so rich time!! I was converted to Culture, and years later I practised ethnopsychiatry.
